We’re always pleased to hear from you, and the other PPN members will be too!
We are evolving to provide a platform for all our members to communicate across disciplines, provide inspiration, share learning and best practice. If you’d like to publish a feature within our newsletter, then please get in touch, we would love to hear from you! Here are some suggestions for how you can engage with the PPN as a communication platform:
A message to the network: Whether you are an aspiring or qualified psychological professional or an expert by experience, or other stakeholder involved in psychological healthcare in the NHS, please contact us with any ideas and suggestions of messages to distribute across our network, including blog posts. We can then discuss how to publish these, for example, in our bi-monthly newsletter and on our website.
Perhaps you’d like to share what has drawn you to your career path, updates within your field or how you have benefitted from working with Psychological Professionals, with a view to inspire others and facilitate change. Or you may want to get in touch with the PPN SE subnetworks to explore profession specific contributions. For more information about our subnetworks, continuing reading here.
Communications across professions: The PPN joins up the psychological professions workforce in the NHS and provides a unique platform to inform, enable and influence psychological practice by sharing any news about service developments, research collaborations or evidence-based practice. For example, the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) may propose new guidelines on a condition or therapeutic practice that matters to you, and you may wish to raise awareness of this. Please contact us with any blogs you would like to share.
Sharing achievements, innovations and best practice: Here is an opportunity to share and celebrate achievements across the region, innovation and best practice to realise maximum psychological benefits for society.
For instance, a colleague, team or service may have gone above and beyond. Or perhaps your Trust has received an award for its psychological practice? Maybe you’d like to discuss possibilities how to showcase your achievements through the PPN. We are open to ideas and would love to hear from you. The PPN can be utilised to distribute communications, learning and best practice far and wide.
