The Psychological Professions Network supports the delivery of projects that deliver the maximum benefit of the Psychological Professions for the public. It will bring together a wide and inclusive member network (i.e professionals, service users and carers, stakeholders, members of the public) that can help shape and deliver the strategic NHS agenda, including that set out in:
- The Five Year Forward View for Mental Health Implementation Plan
- Stepping Forward to 2020/21: The Mental Health Workforce Plan for England
- NHS Long Term Plan
- NHS People Plan for 2020/21
Our work adds value by bringing together a combined voice of the 12 psychological professions in policy development and delivery, in workforce planning and workforce development. The network has two key roles - championing the importance of psychological professions across the whole of health care, and improving access to services and knowledge.
