Psychological Professions Week 2022 - Progressing your career in the psychological professions

We are excited to be chairing the morning session on Thursday 17^th November which is focussing on progressing your career in the psychological professions. The session is aimed at the psychological professions workforce as a whole, including people who might be considering a career break or return to practice and also Experts by Experience (EbE).

This session will explore stories to demonstrate the breadth of opportunities to develop your career across a range of psychological professions and as an Expert by Experience (EbE). The session will include a focus on leadership development (Psychological Practitioner), clinical specialism (Forensic Psychology), progressing into a clinical academic career (Family and Systemic Psychotherapist), progressing as an EbE (Peer Support Worker) and will also consider what this might look like for people considering a career break or return to practice.
