The Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) Community of Practice brings together PWPs, Senior PWPs and Lead PWPs from across the region, to collectively raise the profile and clinical expertise of the low-intensity workforce, take an active involvement with decision-making processes related to PWP clinical practice, and implement local strategies to improve and sustain PWP wellbeing.
Members of the PWP COP are a key mediator between the PPN and their local services. They support the dissemination of key national and regional updates from the COP, sharing good clinical practice and supervision, challenges to effective service delivery, and initiatives around PWP wellbeing. Members also identify these factors within their services and share their key objectives and priorities to benefit the rest of the region.
The work of this group is led and developed by PWPs in the South West, and all trainee and qualified PWPs in the region are invited to join. The group meets online approximately every 6 weeks, with occasional meetings in person.
