The Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) Community of Practice has been developed to become a shared learning and supportive space for qualified and trainee CWPs.
CWPs form a key part of the national CYP mental health workforce strategy, supporting children, young people and families to access support at a stage of early intervention within a community setting. With the role continuing to be developed at a national level, the CWP Community of Practice forms a key networking and support function for qualified CWPs as these roles continue to evolve.
The work of this group will be led and developed by CWPs in the South West, and all trainee and qualified CWPs in the region are invited to join. The group meets online every two months, with occasional meetings in person.
