Neurology data catalogue

The neurology data catalogue lists resources relevant to neurology intelligence. It includes national datasets published at clinical commissioning group (CCG), local authority or provider level. It has information on data availability and location.

Smoking status of mental health trusts

Public Health England has produced a series of maps and an accompanying spreadsheet showing the transition of 59 mental health trusts going smoke-free since 2013. These have been produced as part of PHE’s ongoing work with Mental Health Trusts regarding the implementation of national policy to improve the physical health and wellbeing of people living with mental health problems, including supporting Trusts in becoming smoke-free.

Severe Mental Health (SMI) Profiling Tool

In the Quality and Outcomes domain for County/LAs, the Excess under 75 mortality rate in adults with SMI indicator has been amended and updated to be the same indicator as reported in the PHOF. Note that a different but similar indicator in the Psychosis Pathway domain for CCGs has not been updated.

Common Mental Health Disorders (CMHD) Profiling Tool

14 indicators in the Services domain and 6 indicators in the Quality and Outcomes domain for CCGs relating to IAPT, have been updated for July to September 2015

Suicide Prevention Profiling Tool

Indicators have been updated in the Related Service Contacts domain:

  • Access to IAPT services: People entering IAPT as % of those estimated to have anxiety/depression (CCG)
  • IAPT recovery: % of people who completed treatment who are 'moving to recovery' (CGG)

A number of children in need, children looked after and spend indicators have been updated in the Risk, Social Care and Education domains.

Dementia Intelligence Network: Key profiling tool updates

Dementia Profiling Tool

The regional values for the indicator "Age standardised rate of people (aged 65+) with a mention of vascular dementia using inpatient hospital services per 100,000 resident population (2012/13)" have been revised.
