Specialist Veteran Therapist/CBT/EMDR/Psychotherapist Band 7
Job Summary:
To provide a qualified specialist psychological therapy service for veterans within the Pennine Care Foundation Trust Military Veterans’ Service. The post holder will provide specialist assessment, formulation and interventions for military veterans who have a range of complex anxiety, depression and trauma related problems.
As a specialist therapist the post holder will contribute to the on-going development of the service model and implementation which will include working closely with a range of practitioners from other Mental Health services, MoD, 3rd Sector providers and statutory agencies such as probation and social services.
The post holder will provide clinical supervision and may also have some line management responsibilities.

Job Summary:
To provide and supervise psychological assessments and therapies appropriate to a specialist psychological therapy service for veterans of the British Armed Forces. To play an active role in supporting the continuing development and use of evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions within MVS including providing specialist advice, consultation, support and training to other staff across Greater Manchester and Lancashire. To provide line management and clinical supervision and to play an active role in service developments and governance within the service as required

Job Summary:
The post is part office based (in Bury) when responsibilities include: initial triage of referrals as part of the single point of access and participation in a Duty rota including liaising with referrers and other services and providing support to members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team in relation to risk management and safeguarding issues. The other part of the post is the delivery of clinical appointments within a range of community venues across Greater Manchester and Lancashire or a home setting where clients’ needs necessitate this.
