The event focuses on Assessment, Formulation, Intervention, Dissemination & Evaluation from an African Psychology perspective. It is facilitated by Dr Erica Mapule McInnis, Afrikan Centred Chartered Clinical Psychologist and International Relations Rep (Abpsi Board of Directors, 2018).

This workshop is for those with an interest in optimising black young people (aged 6 years and above). It will be of particular interest to:

  • black psychologists, counsellors and psychotherapists as well as
  • teachers, social workers, nurses, forensic practitioners, health and social care staff, parents, students/ trainees, youth workers, support workers and religious/ spiritual leaders of young people
