The Royal Society of Public Health as part of their HEE North West commissioned MECC for MH have released a expressions of interest call and consultation on the training content for our Making Every Contact Count (MECC) for Mental Health project as commissioned by Health Education England - Deadline 30th November 2020.
Delivered by RSPH, this project aims to support the non-specialist primary and community care workforce, by supplying high-quality and evidence-based mental health and wellbeing training. People who take part in the training will develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to integrate relevant mental health messages and interventions into routine practice.
Training consultation
The consultation on training content and methodology is open to individuals and organisations that have a responsibility, needs or experience in mental health promotion training in primary and/or community care settings.

Call for Expressions of interest to nominate Lead Trainers and Trainers
The call for expressions of interest is for primary and community care organisations across the North, to nominate individuals within their staff to become Lead Trainers and Trainers for the project.
We are recruiting 14 Lead Trainers (2 per STP/ICS area) and 86 Trainers (12 per STP/ICS area). They will be selected based on their competence to deliver the training as well as their capacity to do it within their existing role. A training grant towards covering some of their time will be provided to their organisation. Please read here for the full details.
