Huge Congratulations to our PPN NW Co-Chair, colleague and friend to many in the NW and nationally across the PPN, on winning the 2024 BPS Distinguished Contribution to Practice Award!
Gita has worked tirelessly in numerous roles, projects and organisations but we are obviously very proud of her specific achievements having led the development of the Psychological Professions Network (PPN), firstly in the North West, before the development spread to inform, enable and influence the Psychological Professions and stakeholders across England.
I’m honoured and humbled and delighted to receive the Award for Distinguished Contribution to Practice from the BPS. While the award is for one person, it’s important to recognise the parts that colleagues, friends and family have played in enabling my work over the years. - Gita Bhutani
