Principal Clinical / Counselling Psychologist

The post holder will be the lead psychologist for the newly developing Maternity Mental Health (MMH) Team.  The role is attached to the Milton Keynes Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service which is a multi-disciplinary team including Psychiatrist, Team Manager, Psychologist and Psychological Therapist, Specialist CPN’s, Lead OT, Nursery Nurse and administration staff.  You will be working with women with moderate-complex Mental Health difficulties arising from the experience of loss and trauma relating to their maternity/perinatal/neonatal experience.  This will include, but will not be limited to, PTSD following birth trauma, perinatal loss including miscarriage, stillbirth, termination or neonatal death, and severe tokophobia (primary and secondary tokophobia).

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT) are recruiting 4 Trainee Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioners who will complete a PG Cert in Child and Young Persons Psychological Wellbeing Practice provided by UCL/Anna Freud Centre.  Practitioners will deliver, under intensive supervision, brief evidence-based therapeutic interventions for CYP experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.  This is a 1 year post.  Experience of working with children and young people is essential.  Applicants MUST apply for the course alongside the job application.  The post holder must be available to start the role and course in Jan 2022. Band 8a - MHST Senior Supervisor & Clinical Lead / Clinical Psychologist (Part Time - 30 Hours per week)
North East London Foundation Trust, Mental Health Support Teams

This Senior Supervisor & Clinical Lead post is a new post to support the clinical development and delivery of the Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in Essex. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of evidence-based CBT interventions in schools/colleges and providing supervision to members of the senior clinical team. The post holder would be expected to work closely with the Educational Lead to foster the integration of clinical and educational principles to support CYP with mental health concerns. We are looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist / Educational Psychologist / Family Therapist with expertise in the delivery of CBT to children and young people (CYP) and their families to manage anxiety, low mood and behavioural problems. Experience delivering supervision using a CBT framework is highly desirable, as is experience conducting clinical audits and evaluating research data to inform the delivery and development of clinical services. Experienced clinicians working within local or specialist services who have undertaken formal CBT training (e.g. CYP-IAPT) and gained appropriate supervisory and research experience would also be considered
