The purpose of setting up an Aspiring Psychologist Community of Practice (AP CoP) is to provide a safe forum where Aspiring Psychologists can share their collective and individual knowledge/skills.
The focus will be on clinical, professional and workforce issues and will provide a space for Aspiring Psychologists to reflect on their work in the NHS and the journey to qualified Psychologist training routes.
We also aim to provide a strategic voice for Aspiring Psychologists at Workforce Council meetings and other regional meetings and forums, as well as ensuring that the Aspiring Psychologist group are able to contribute to any relevant consultations, policy, service and training developments.
As the Aspiring Psychologist CoP is evolving, developing and growing, the reach may expand.
