Tuesday AM - Psychologically Informed Crisis Care

Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams (CRHTT’s) sit in a pivotal place in the urgent care pathway. They act as gatekeepers for acute inpatient beds, facilitate early hospital discharge and provide person centred interventions in a home environment. Many people accessing these services have experienced trauma and are dealing with current distress. It is crucial that CRHTTs are set up to offer compassionate evidence-based care and avoid traumatisation.
