Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Subnetwork launched
We are excited to announce the creation of a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWPs) Subnetwork as part of the PPN KSS.
The aim of creating the subnetwork is to provide a space for PWPs to connect in order to strengthen both our professional identity and our collective voice within the wider psychological professions. We know that as a relatively new profession we have a number of unique challenges and opportunities and are excited to be able to come together to explore these.
In an initial survey conducted at the recent PWP Skills Forum in Brighton, PWPs discussed some key issues being increasing access to CPD, promoting other professionals’ understanding of the role, and establishing best practice in terms of the nature and size of caseloads.
Following this we have arranged a meeting of interested PWPs and key stakeholders this month to begin to shape how the subnetwork will function and what our initial focus will be.
We are lucky to have such a passionate and enthusiastic PWP workforce across Kent, Sussex and Surrey and we would love for as many of you to be involved as possible. We hope to be able to update you on our progress via the PPN website but in the meantime, if you would like to know more please contact Lizzie Gray (
