Exploring the Contribution of Psychological Professions to Promoting Wellbeing in Communities
We are looking for a highly motivated psychological professional with specialist expertise and a passion for promoting psychological healthy communities. This is to produce a scoping paper and report with recommendations on the contributions of and opportunities for psychological professions in this area.
We are working towards service user and carer involvement in all of our work, and require a high level of commitment to consult and involve service users and carers at all stages of the project.
In the first instance, we are looking to commission a scoping paper that would need to be delivered by no later than 30th September 2019. This would then be reported back to the PPN KSS Steering Group and inform decisions about following up on opportunities for the psychological professions.
The scoping paper would need to be broad enough to capture the current work going on across the region and beyond (nationally / internationally), identify examples of best practice and opportunities on how to scale up or replicate these examples, looking at the skills requirement within the psychological professions workforce and making recommendations on how to address any gaps. The scoping would also include identifying opportunities in the area of public health, and a project evaluation plan.
We are interested in hearing from a suitably qualified individual, and expect the candidate to work collaboratively with experts in the region. We anticipate that this piece of work could be completed in up to ten days of work. We would have a small amount of backfill money available to cover the cost.
