Volunteer Opportunity: Wider Psychological Workforce Representatives on BPS Registration Advisory Panel

The BPS are in the process of establishing their Registration Advisory Panel, the Panel responsible for ensuring that standards are maintained for the BPS Wider Psychological Workforce Register and that the register functions are carried out fairly, effectively and transparently in line with the standards set by the Professional Standards Authority.


They have successfully appointed a Chair and a number of other representatives and are now in the process of recruiting two Wider Psychological Workforce representatives to the Panel with significant knowledge and understanding of at least one of the roles on the register (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners, Education Mental Health Practitioners, Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology and Clinical Associates in Psychology) and an awareness of the challenges and workforce issues within the psychological professions and psychological service delivery.
