Secondment Opportunity: PWP Lecturer Practitioner, Division of Counselling and Psychological Therapies

An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for an innovative and motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of the BPS accredited Post Grad Certificate Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) Course at the University of Central Lancashire.

You will be a qualified and experienced PWP who has an excellent understanding of the role of PWPs. The specific focus of this secondment will be contributing to the clinical skills teaching on the above programme, but you will also be involved in lecturing, assessment, and act as a personal tutor, alongside other course lecturers.


You will be committed to the success of your students and be able to show that you can effectively support learning and teaching in the classroom. A teaching qualification or teaching experience in higher education would be an advantage.

This part-time secondment is available for one day a week (likely to be Thursdays) between October 2014 and June 2015. You will be allocated a named preceptor whilst working at the university and will need the support of your manager to undertake this position.
