Public Health Glossary Launched

As outlined in the Five Year Forward View, the future of the next generations and the sustainability of NHS depend ona radical upgrade in prevention and public health. In order to deliver on this large scale change, it is crucial that all organisations within the health and care sectors work together when developing national policies and resources and that these are underpinned by consistent language.

To support this, with our Library and Knowledge Servicecolleagues, we have developed a glossary of public health terminology.   Our aim is that these terms will help to inform investment in training and workforce development in prevention and population health.
