Mental Health NHS Providers and System Suppliers Stakeholder User Group - implementation of the Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS v1)

Dates: 9th September 2015 – London (exact venue TBC) 10.00am – 4pm / 17th September 2015 – Leeds (exact venue TBC) 10.00am – 4pm

Following the recent publication of the SCCI notice SCCI0011 Amd12/2015 mandating the data collection and flow of MHSDS from January 2016, the HSCIC is holding two identical events, aimed at secondary mental health care providers and clinical system suppliers submitting Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS v1).

The agenda will include:

• A summary of the changes to the data set
• Introduction to SNOMED and how it applies to the data set
• Look at future analysis and reporting
• Next steps

It is aimed at those organisations responsible for the submission of the mental health data sets to support them with the implementation of the changes.

It is hoped that care providers and system suppliers will attend together, to allow a shared understanding of requirements. This event is aimed mainly at Informatics staff who have responsibility for submitting the data to HSCIC. However, care providers may wish to encourage their Chief Clinical Information Officer to attend. (Please book using the form below).

This will NOT cover the IAPT data set.

Please note, places are initially restricted to two delegates from each organisation (providers and suppliers). If you would like to request additional places please ask delegates to register using the form below. Places will be allocated from the remaining slots on a first come first served basis. If there is sufficient demand we will consider running additional events or web-ex. These could be aimed at specific audiences e.g. clinicians, senior management.

The event is free; however there will be a £50 charge for non-attendance. We must be informed of all cancellations, in writing, at least 48 hours prior to the event or you will be charged.
