Salary: £26,565 to £35,577 per an

An exciting opportunity to support Pennine Care in delivering the newly commissioned Transition, Intervention and Liaison (TIL) service for veterans and “soon to be veterans” is available for a suitably qualified and experienced Mental Health Practitioner.

The post is based within the Military Veterans’ Service - a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist which is commissioned to assess and treat:

  • Veterans of the British Armed Forces (including current reservists when not mobilised),
  • Whose mental health condition is related to their military service, e.g. linked to experiences whilst serving and/or difficulties with transition to civilian life; and
  • Who are suitable for psychological therapy but unable or unwilling to access local mainstream services; and not currently being treated by secondary care mental health services
