Job Opportunity: Children & Young People Wellbeing Practitioner at Just Psychology

Salary: £28,000
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Job Type: Permanent (with a 6-month probationary period) – subject to funding
Location: Office based (Democracy House, 609 Stretford Road, Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 0QA) though there is some flexibility to work from home and this would be agreed on an individual basis.

About the role: To engage with and provide therapeutic and community services for children and 
families as an autonomous independent practitioner. To undertake psychological and psychosocial 
assessments and interventions under the supervision of an experienced psychological/mental 
health practitioner and contribute to and work within the organisational structure of Just Psychology CIC.

About you: you will
• Have completed CYWP training & have a degree level qualification
• Have experience of working with children, adolescents and families from diverse ethnic backgrounds
• Have experience of facilitating group therapy sessions
• Be able to develop therapeutic relationships
• Be able to keep accurate and confidential client records
• Be skilled in the communication of sensitive issues
• Have understanding and experience of safeguarding vulnerable children & adults
• Be able to work flexibly and co-operatively as part of a team
