PART ONE: QUALIFYING COURSE IN PSYCHODYNAMIC PSYCHOTHERAPY D58 MANCHESTER
The Manchester course is now recruiting for the September 2016 intake.
The course introduces students to a psychoanalytic way of thinking about their clinical work, whilst also providing an opportunity to explore whether they may wish to pursue further training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Although D58 forms the first part of a qualifying course, it does not by itself lead to a professional qualification; students are awarded a postgraduate diploma awarded by the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust (D58 Manchester students). The course can be used to meet the theoretical pre-entry requirement for DIT training.
The D58 Manchester is a partnership between the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and Manchester Mental Health & Social Care Trust. The course will be based at Gaskell House in Manchester.
Expressions of interest and enquiries should be directed to Mr Martin Gill at Gaskell House, email
Students are advised to arrange an informal interview prior to making a full application via the Tavistock website.
Further information on the D58 including fees and the application process can be found at the Tavistock website.
