We are delighted to invite you to one of our open day events for the MSc in Psychological Therapies Practice and Research Programme in CEDAR, University of Exeter which is now open for applicants. The programme is available as a 60 credit ‘top-up’ for any Psychological Professional who has completed one of the relevant Psychological Professions / Therapies Diplomas including: 

PGDip Children, Young People and Families (CBT, 0-5s, Parenting, LD-ASD, SFP) 

PGDip Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis and Bipolar Disorder 

PGDip High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy 

PGDip Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapies and Approaches 

PGDip Mental Health Practice in Education Settings (EMHP) 

PGDip Severe Mental Health Problems: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis and Bipolar Disorder 

PGDip Severe Mental Health Problems: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Personality Disorder 

PGDip Systemic Family Therapy 

 

The programme will develop skills and knowledge about research methods, service evaluation and project management through seminars, workshops, and individual supervision. As part of the programme students will undertake a piece of empirical research, service evaluation or a systematic review in a topic related to their clinical area and relevant to their practice and service. The programme aims to support development as a scientist practitioner but also support role development within service.
