Depression: Asking the Right Questions (ARQ) Project

15 Aug 14

This is a national public survey on depression, which is seeking the views of anyone affected by depression, in order to inform future research.

Depression ARQ is a partnership of 27 national organisations, including charities, NHS Trusts and Royal Colleges. They want to know what questions people have about depression. They are collecting questions from those directly affected, their friends, family and carers, and they also are seeking input from health and social care professionals who work with people with depression.

Depression ARQ believe that research has the potential to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of depression. The top priority unanswered questions uncovered by the survey will be promoted to researchers and funders to help find answers that will make a real difference to people's lives.
