Promoting Excellence In Psychological Health & Wellbeing
EoE PPN inaugural meeting
East of England PPN launching event took place on 12th March 2021 and was chaired by Dr Maggie Rosairo, EoE PPN chair. Over fifty psychological professionals, experts by experience and stakeholders attended the virtual meeting and shared their support for the recently launched regional PPN.
During the meeting, participants had the chance to join one of the three discussion groups and contribute their ideas regarding:
- workforce development
- a unified voice for psychological professions
- achieving service excellence
Special guests Dr Adrian Whittington; National Lead for Psychological Professions, NHSE/I and HEE and Dr Gita Bhutani; National Development Lead Psychological Professions Network, HEE and Co-Chair, Psychological Professions Network England presented the national direction for PPNs and how the EoE can support this, along with what other PPNs in the country. There were also presentations by colleagues from regional HEE and NHSE/I.
