Senior Child Psychotherapist 8a 

ELFT, CAMHS

Permanent full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Salary of £47,126 - £53,219 Per annum.

Luton based.

The successful applicant will provide a specialist child psychotherapy service to clients of South Beds CAMHS, providing specialist child psychotherapy assessment and treatment and offering advice and consultation to non-psychotherapist colleagues and other non-professional carers from a variety of psychoanalytic, childhood psychosocial developmental and mental health perspectives. The team has a long-standing reputation for hosting full-time Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Trainees. The post-holder will contribute with service supervision, identify training cases, and liaise with the training school.

The child psychotherapy discipline will undertake specialist CAMHS assessments of clients newly-referred into the team and internal referrals. The senior child psychotherapist will provide a range of specialist child and adolescent psychotherapy interventions as required (short-term, medium and long-term interventions and state of mind assessments and inter-agencies consultations). Long-term (weekly and intensive) interventions and Short Term Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (STTP) are well-established resources within the team and Parent-Child Psychotherapy.

Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner

 Mid and North East Essex Mind

 We are recruiting for a Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to work in a well-established Mental Health Support Team in the Tendring area of North East Essex. The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) work closely with schools, ensuring children and young people receive faster access to earlier mental health support as well as supporting their families and the school staff.

You will provide a high-quality service to students (and their families) experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, through the provision of evidence-based interventions and be a key part of the development and delivery of the Whole School Approach.

 The work is varied and interesting, we are a creative, innovative team and encourage professional development within the service whilst holding a clear focus on high quality, child centred interventions.

Team Manager Single Point of Contact (SPOC)

Full-time up to 12 month Fixed-Term Contract (part-time applications will also be considered)

Base: Hub in central Norwich

Salary: £38,609 to £43, 541 (depending on experience) per annum, based on 35 hours per week.

We are looking for enthusiastic and well-motivated individuals to lead our clinical teams and provide supervision and organisational support to this core function of our children and young people’s (CYP) mental health service.

The role of SPOC manager will include management of the: Single Point of Access (triage) team who are responsible for the screening, assessment and outcome decision of referrals into our CYP mental health service.

Ormiston Families has held the tier 2 CAMHS CYP contract to deliver mental health services to young people and families for over a decade. Offering high quality 1:1 therapy and early intervention programmes to children and young people between the ages of 4-16 who experience social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. We also offer parent led interventions and family-based support. We work collaboratively across an innovative alliance of partner providers in the processing of referrals for those aged 0-25, sharing expertise, learning and resources.

The role of Clinical Team Manager is to manage and support a range of clinicians and therapeutic practitioners in their delivery of high quality, low intensity psychological interventions. The teams you manage could include Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners, Counsellors, CBT therapists, Play Therapists, Psycho-Social Practitioners among others.
