Senior Lecturer (Programme Lead - YIPP) E&S

The above part-time (0.2 - 0.4FTE) post is available immediately on a two-year fixed term contract in the Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR), within Psychology. 

We are seeking to appoint a new Senior Lecturer with a particular interest in the development and delivery of innovative and trailblazing new mental health training for practitioners working with children and young people experiencing severe and complex needs.

CEDAR (Clinical Education Development and Research) is an applied psychological centre of excellence whose core mission is to grow and develop the psychological workforce, maximising their impact through training and development, service transformation and research and evaluation.  In doing so we aim to ensure access to evidence-based psychological practice that leads to positive outcomes for service users, service providers and funders across England and beyond.  CEDAR’s impact is achieved through CEDAR CREATE through its Consultation, Research and Evaluation, Transformation and executive education activity resulting in significant benefits to service provision alongside more effective and acceptable interventions for service users.

Lecturer in Evidence-Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapies (0.8 FTE) x 2 posts

We seek well-qualified, fully accredited and highly experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapists to join our team. In this role, you will contribute across the developing IAPT professional training portfolio of high intensity CBT training that has been commissioned by Health Education East of England, and also contribute to discrete projects of UEA training commissioned by others. You will provide regular delivery of teaching, supervision, student assessment and examination, providing support for students’ personal and professional development, academic planning and preparation and other duties as necessary for the provision of high quality professional psychological therapies education.
